Good Company Portland

Sometimes you just want someone to go with.

Conversation · Outings · Connection

  • New to Portland and looking to explore?

  • Recently widowed and navigating a new routine?

  • Need a plus-one for a show or an upcoming event?

  • Empty nester ready to get back out there?

  • Friends moved away, or life just got too busy?

Good Company offers warm, strictly platonic social connection for adults in Portland, someone to join you for coffee, explore the city, take a walk, see an exhibit, go to an event, or simply have a really good conversation.

What Shall We Do?

Explore a neighborhood. Try that restaurant. Wander through galleries. Browse books and linger over tea.

Choose an outing package, or bring an idea of your own. Let’s make a plan.

There’s probably something you’ve been meaning to do.

Two women having a conversation at a cozy restaurant or cafe. One woman with blonde hair and tattoos is smiling and holding a glass, while the other woman with short gray hair is facing away. The table has a pink flower arrangement, candles, and menus. The interior has large windows, plants, and warm lighting.
  • A place you want to visit.

  • A walk you want to take.

  • A restaurant you want to try.

  • A show you don’t want to miss.

  • An event or office party you don’t want to attend alone.

  • A few errands that would be much less tedious with company.

  • A project you keep meaning to get started.

  • Or maybe you’d just like to sit down with someone interesting and talk for a while.

  • You don’t have to wait until someone else is available.

Good company, clear expectations.

Good Company is a strictly platonic service for adults.

It is not dating, romance, physical companionship, therapy, counseling, caregiving, medical assistance, housekeeping, transportation, or crisis support. People sometimes describe this as renting or hiring a friend. Good Company is professional, strictly platonic companionship by the hour.

I do not drive clients. For outings, we meet at the agreed-upon location and each arrange our own transportation.

Initial meetings take place in public.

Every booking is considered individually, and either of us can decide that a particular outing, or the overall fit isn’t right. Good Company - Service Guide

Good Company is LGBTQ+-friendly and HAES-aligned. There are no fitness expectations, weight-loss talk, or judgments about bodies here, and respect for your identity, relationships, and life experience is simply part of being good company.
